[jitsi-users] Call quality problems (SIP, LTE 800)

Hi,

I downloaded jitsi for doing calls with sipgate basic. Unfortunately when I use jitsi I get clicking noises and choppy sound. I also get this when I use some test call numbers like Echo call. What is the problem? Is it upload capacity? I got LTE 800. Usually I can watch videos like Netflix or youtube without problems. But with jitsi and sipgate basic I have quality issues with voice only calls. Are there any settings I need to change?

Another problem I got, is that I can't change the volume of my bluetooth headset with software. I can only change it with the hardware buttons on the headset itself, but the lowest setting is still a bit too loud. The windows volume settings for the device have no effect and in jitsi it seems you can't change the volume? Is there any workaround or advice you can give me?

talk to Sipgate instead of using Jitsi?

I tried Zoiper now. There it seems fine (none of the problems), although sometimes I wonder if the microphone volume is a bit too low there.

It is a Plantronics EOTE14 bluetooth in ear headset.
