[jitsi-users] Call encryption dropped when desktop sharing or video call ends?

#1

Hello All,

I've noticed that when I'm in an encrypted XMPP voice call and end
sharing my desktop or video chat, the ZRTP connection is also broken and
not renegotiated. Basically, I need to stop the call and call the other
party back to get a new encrypted call.

Is this a bug (worthy of a report) or expected behavior?

Thanks,
Anthony

It's most likely just a display bug and not an actual security downgrade. Yes, please open a bug.

Cheers,

I can reproduce this, it is an display bug, the call information still
states that the call is encrypted.
