[jitsi-users] BUG: Unclean shutdown of camera at exit

#1

Hello,

got an old Philips Toucam, which is not officially supported by Win 7
64bit. But still, it can be used with an alternative driver:

However, upon exiting Jitsi, the following error appears:

actually even if you do not use the camera at all. If you use it, then
the count of objects will be up to 20! I assume that there is unclean
shutdown of the camera, and this could cause instabilities or crashes.

Thank you very much for the feedback!

Unfortunately, I'm unaware of any currently active Jitsi developer who
has experience with the camera and/or the driver in question.

Hi,

I assume that Java will not direclty interact with the driver, so it
should affect other cameras as well. But let me make some test with
other applications. Maybe its not a Jitsi problem
