[jitsi-users] browsercalls sip and jitsi

#1

Hi,

I'd like to access the Browsercalls.com VOIP service via Jitsi on Windows 7
64-bit.

I entered all my log-in details and Jitsi connects to my
sip.browsercalls.com account via the SIP protocoll. The connection is
active and looks fine.

But whenever I'd like to call a number in the international format it says
"initiating calls" and then after around half a minute I get this error
message:
"Call failed. The remote party has not replied! The call will be
disconnected." . But the phone next to me did not ring at all, also no
dialing tones occured.

When I try to ring this phone from another VOIP provider set-up in this
very same Jitsi, it works well.

Here are the Browsercalls SIP settings:
https://www.browsercalls.com/sip

Here are my browercalls settings in Jitsi:

Unfortunately browsercalls officially states that they do not provide
support for 3rd party VOIP clients. But it is working well with the old
version (6.12) of 3CX software VOIP client.

Can you help me what to set in Jitsi to use browsercall voip service
properly?

thanks,
Baci
