[jitsi-users] autoprovision contactlist.xml

#1

Hi,
I have been using it for quite long time, and it is great so far.

Can you give me more information about auto provisioning via HTTP?

I have entered provisioning server manually and I see POST requests:
<IP address> - - [14/Mar/2014:12:24:45 +0100] "POST /file.cfg
HTTP/1.1" 200 35026 "-" "Jitsi/2.5.5065"

Jitsi is provisioned exactly as it should
My question is, is there a way to auto provision contactlist.xml,
cause that would be the same for all users?

Thanks for your time,
Mirko

Hi,

there is no option of provisioning contactlist. Currently every
protocol is handling its contactlist. XMPP uses roaster (Openfire has
an option of shared groups which can be used to share the same group
in all users contactlist), SIP has option of using xcap and xivo.
