[jitsi-users] ATTN: Jitsi Devs. (RE: "Jitsi Meet" :: 502 (Bad Gateway))

#1

Hello, Team-Jitsi.

I have recently installed Jitsi Meet on a fresh Ubuntu Ubuntu 12.04.5 64-bit

Having followed all of the instructions in both here:

https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/quick-install.md

... and here:

https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/manual-install.md

I am unable to create a conference. (When I try to invite, the ext says
"Your conference is currently being created...".)

I can access the server:

https://meet.xxxxxxxxxx.com

I see my video. Audio is live. But I am not able to create a conference.
I am not able to start a chat.

In javascript console, i see:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 502 (Bad
Gateway) :: https://meet. xxxxxxxxxx.com/http-bind

...and it's TRUE!! when hit this link , it hangs, times out after 30
mins, and reports: 502 Bad Gateway

any ideas?

Thank you all for any time / suggestions you may have to offer.

Regards,

Shea
