[jitsi-users] Android status and bugs

#1

Hello,

I felt I was a fearless alpha warrior and installed Jitsi on my Android
(Asus Transformer TF700). Should I just keep using it as it is, or should I
report the issues I find? What exactly is the current status on this?

Thanks a lot,

Vivia

of course you should report the issues. I had a chat with Emil about
that just yesterday, and we concluded that bugs in the Android version
should be reported to the users mailing list.

Personally, I would be happy to team up with you in testing Jitsi's
Android version, discussing bugs, and maybe even fixing them.

Feel free to add me to your roster ($jid == $email).

Hi Vivia,

Hello,

I felt I was a fearless alpha warrior and installed Jitsi on my Android (Asus Transformer TF700). Should I just keep using it as it is, or should I report the issues I find?

Please report any issues you find to the list.

What exactly is the current status on this?

It's currently still unstable, but we're working hard on stabilising things, so any bug reports are appreciated.

When reporting, please don't forget to tell us what is your device and android version, that helps a lot!

Cheers,
Yana

On installation, choose SIP, pop up title Choose a network, but the words are white on near-white background, almost impossible to read: SIP, Jabber

On typing in the username and password boxes for setting up account (the font is large and fuzzy on Samsung Galaxy II) when clicking in the box, the word "Username" or "Password" should disappear, not only after starting to type.
Device: Samsung Galaxy II. Please note it as I'll forget to keep saying

Hi Nik,

Thanks for your reports!!

If you could also take some screenshots on any user interface related issues, it could help us a lot. Also, what android version do you use with your Galaxy II?

Cheers,
Yana

When clicking on Sign in blue button below Username and Password, the app freezes. Sorry! Activity Jitsi (in application jitsi) is not responding. Force close/wait.
