[jitsi-users] Android and IOS

#1

Hi everyone i'm new here.

I want to say I find this software really good, especially because it
provides many functionalities out of the box and it works quite well.

I'm part of a wireless community network in Italy and we started to use
ejabberd for our chat and videocalls.

As you can see I officially suggested to our community to use jitsi for
the reasons outlined before: http://wiki.ninux.org/Jabber

I wanted to ask you if you plan to develop a version for mobile OS, just
for curiosity.

Thank you for your great open source software

Hey Federico,

As you can see I officially suggested to our community to use jitsi for the
reasons outlined before: http://wiki.ninux.org/Jabber

Thank you very much!

I wanted to ask you if you plan to develop a version for mobile OS, just for
curiosity.

I'm quoting Emil Ivov on the subject of Jitsi's Android port bellow:

We don't have an ETA yet but we are working on it quite actively. Most
of the code handling audio/video, sip, and xmpp has been ported but we
still need to work on the user interface.

Lyubomir
