[jitsi-users] after call, wrong player de-paused

#1

hey,

jitsi pauses vlc-player up an incoming call on a debian jessie/kde – just fine.
after the call ended, amarok (which was on pause) is de-paused, instead of vlc.

if amarok is not on "pause", nothing continues to play after the call ended.

pulseaudio 4.0-6+b1 amd64 PulseAudio sound server
jitsi 2.5.5211-1 amd64 VoIP and Instant Messaging client
vlc 2.1.2-2+b3 amd64 multimedia player and streamer
amarok 2.8.0-2 amd64 easy to use media player based on the KDE Platform
kde-baseapps 4:4.12.3-1 all base applications from the official KDE release (meta-package)

any hints?

cheers

hey again,
as in addition to de-pause after a call, this also happens after a chat-msg. comes in and is very annoying!

as you asked to discuss possible bugs on the mailing-list before open them, I call for discussion – or should I open a bug right away?

thx 4 feedback

Hi,

there is nothing in Jitsi that controls any player. What is the audio
setting in Jitsi? It should be pulseaudio, try changing devices.
