Jitsi-recording-service not found

Does anyone know where to find the jitsi-recording-service.sh service to run after jibri recording ends? I did some searches and did not find any references for this service

Thank you

Where did you get that?

After jibri recording ends the hook is a script which is configureable in the config https://github.com/jitsi/jibri/blob/master/resources/debian-package/etc/jitsi/jibri/config.json#L8

It’s in the script https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-upload-integrations/blob/master/jitsi_uploader.sh#L38

in finalize_recording_script_path I will set /usr/bin/jitsi_uploader.sh

Ahaaam uploader-integrations, I missed that.
Ok, so with the help of upload-integrations you can upload the recordings to dropbox and jitsi-recording-service.sh is just a hook, you can see that it checks is the script there and executable if so, just finish using that script if there is no UPLOAD_TYPE.
This is simply a hook you can use to put your stuff in there … this a hook we use for deployment which has custom recording service.
A hook you can implement upload and process other than dropbox.

Got it, thanks for the answer

Could this be used to upload to NextCloud instead of dropbox ? If so it is very interresting and could allow sharing video records for jitsi instances (and participants) that doesn’t have internet access for compliance reasons and also for RGPD compliance.
