Your config looks fine. Can you share your jicofo.conf?
And what’s the status of Jibri service?

Hello

# Jicofo HOCON configuration. See reference.conf in /usr/share/jicofo/jicofo.jar for

Looks good too.
Is port 5222 open and accessible to Jibri on the Jitsi server?
Maybe also share your prosody lua.

yes there is access. also prejoinConfig, fileRecordingsEnabled, liveStreamingEnabled, hiddenDomain: ‘recoder.jibri.test.net’ is open.

Ah, I’ve seen problems with Jibri and Chrome 97. I’d suggest downgrading your Chrome and Chromedriver versions (try 96 or even 91).

OK I did it. I restarted jibri. But it hasn’t changed.

# chromedriver --version
ChromeDriver 91.0.4472.101 (af52a90bf87030dd1523486a1cd3ae25c5d76c9b-refs/branch-heads/4472@{#1462})

root@jibri:~# google-chrome-stable --version
Google Chrome 91.0.4472.101

hmm… there was a problem with AdoptJdk for Jitsi. Maybe it could be worth a try to use system Java in your case too ?

as follows. I don’t have Config.json file. There is Jibri.conf file.

#!/bin/bash
exec /usr/lib/jvm/adoptopenjdk-8-hotspot-amd64/bin/java -Djava.util.logging.config.file=/etc/jitsi/jibri/logging.properties -Dconfig.file="/etc/jitsi/jibri/jibri.conf" -jar /opt/jitsi/jibri/jibri.jar --config "/etc/jitsi/jibri/config.json"

# /usr/lib/jvm/adoptopenjdk-8-hotspot-amd64/bin/java -version

OpenJDK Runtime Environment (AdoptOpenJDK)(build 1.8.0_292-b10)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (AdoptOpenJDK)(build 25.292-b10, mixed mode)

Hi, I have the same Iusse, recording goes into “preparation of recording” State and quit:

I have jibri and Jitsi in the same server:

What could i try to do to fix the problem?

Thanks to all!!

Use java 11 to run jibri.

Hi, and thanks for answer, I used java 8

/usr/lib/jvm/adoptopenjdk-8-hotspot-amd64/bin/java

now i’m using java 11 but still the same

openjdk version "11.0.13" 2021-10-19
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 11.0.13+8-Ubuntu-0ubuntu1.20.04)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.0.13+8-Ubuntu-0ubuntu1.20.04, mixed mode)
Not joined yet: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'isJoined')

That is the default java on the jibri machine?

Yes i have jibri and jitsi in the same machine and this is is the default java
