Jitsi meet works fine on my local set up , but fails when hosted on AWS

Hello,
I am working on a Spring based web application (Angular 8 as FE) that uses Jitsi meet for video conferencing between 2 parties. I was able to successfully deploy and host my application on a desktop (my local server). The Jitsi meet video conference feature works perfectly fine. However when I deploy my application on AWS EC2 instance the meet feature does not work. I get “Failed to access microphone and camera” message.
I came across the below link which talks about installation of Jitsi. However in my desktop I have not installed any of the Jitsi and it works fine.

Is this installation mandatory for my app to work when hosted on AWS.
