Jitsi meet suitable for kids under 17?

we would like to use Jitsi for home schooling in Corona time. Seems to be a very good tool for that.
Now some parents have doubts about it because in Apple App Store the Jitsi Meet app is released only for children with age 17+, pl. refer to https://apps.apple.com/de/app/jitsi-meet/id1165103905.
What’s the reason why the app in only released for adult persons? Is there a chance to release also for younger children?

In Google PlayStore it is relased from age 0 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.jitsi.meet.

it’s because the tool is used widely to connect to the public server meet.jit.si, a server that is open to everyone so it could be used by people you don’t want children to be in contact with. This could be mitigated only by setting the server used to be a private server (it’s easy to configure the app) and locking it so the young user can’t change it to another server (I don’t know how to do that, not even if it’s possible).
