Exactly same here …

Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS

Also the same. Fresh Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS instance.

Strangely, installing with apt install jitsi-meet a few days ago worked.

Something changed in the repos in the last few days?

Same here.
I have no idea why, but using apt instead of apt-get worked for me

Seeing related behavior on a current install running on Ubuntu 18.04. An apt-get dist-upgrade wants to remove the ‘jitsi-meet’ package and most all dependencies.

+1
Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS

I successfully installed Jitsi Meet a few hours ago and now the installation is broken.

It was a temporary problem with the download server. Should be fixed now

do apt-get update and apt-get install jitsi-meet and should be fine.

Thanks a lot - working now
