Jitsi meet on web page

#1

Dear Sir,

How to configure a php page to view the conference on my website.
I tried in vain for advice on this forum but I could not find it.
I found this code, I customized it but it does not work. Can you please give me some advice to solve this obstacle?
I do not understand where I’m wrong, a blank page comes out as if it did not read the code

best regards

Walter

<script>
    var userName = '{{uName}}';
    var meetingRoomName = '{{jClsName}}';
    // Call APi an dget full user details here
        var domain = "meet.jit.si";
        var options = {
            roomName: meetingRoomName,
            width: 700,
            height: 600,
            parent: undefined,
            configOverwrite: {},
            interfaceConfigOverwrite: {
                filmStripOnly: false
            }
        }
        var api = new JitsiMeetExternalAPI(domain, options);
        api.executeCommand('displayName', userName);

</script>

Thank you for your reply,

What should I do to define it?
I closed the name of the room in quotes but it does not work anyway: “calciodonne”,
Do not just create the room on your server?
do I need to install Jitsi on my local server or hosting?

best regards

Walter

Add a DOM element for the UI where the iframe will be injected and pass it to the API.

parentNode: document.querySelector('#meet')

like in the example: https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/api.md.

Not function…
you can get in touch with your collaborator for a quote to make me realize this script
