I’ve used Jitsi Meet a couple of times. Generally works great! Thanks!
But, yesterday, it failed. I connected my MacBook Pro using Firefox to a friend’s Windows Firefox, and also to another of my MacBook Pro’s using Chrome (once we noticed a problem and wanted to try a 3rd attendee). All connected fine. We could see each other’s tiles as attendees, could switch to see just one of us, etc.
However, all we ever saw was our names. All attempts by any of the 3 laptops to share video or desktop failed. All seemed to work from the sender’s end. Could see his own video, his own desktop, etc. But in all cases, the other 2 attendees still saw only his name.
Tried Mon 5/4/2020 around 11:30 am to 12:30 pm EST. Gave up and switched to Zoom.
Same problem again today, just between my 2 MacBook Pros. Is there a problem at the Jitsi Meet servers? Or am I doing something wrong? I DID get it working the other day,
