Jitsi-meet-electron and jwt

A question to Jitsi developers team. I tried jitsi-meet-electron app on Ubuntu 18.04 and it works perfectly with a fresh Jitsi-Meet deployment. I believe this app is still experimental, But I’m wondering if you are planning to make it compatible with JWT Authentication in the future ?

It’s not experimental. IIRC URL parameters are currently not processed, so indeed it won’t work with JWT as of yet. I’ll open an issue about it. Patched fixing this are of course welcome

Oh! so this project replaced the old Jitsi Dekstop app ?

Great, thank you.

No. The Jitsi Desktop app remains a multi-protocol desktop client for SIP, XMPP and others. Jitsi Meet is just about WebRTC compatible video conferencinng.

This is the issue, in case you want to follow: https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet-electron/issues/67

Alright! thank you very much

Does Jitsi Desktop work with Jitsi-Meet instance? I mean can I use it as a Jitsi Meet client ?
