Hi! the Jitsi Meet Desktop App for Linux doesn’t allow recordings with Dropbox. When trying to connect to my Dropbox account it shows a message saying the browser is not secure and can’t go further than that.
Did you try another browser, just in case?
Yes other browsers work fine. This is the official Flatpak release of Jitsi Meet App! https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.jitsi.jitsi-meet
Aaah my apologies; it’s the app, not a browser.
Ok, to be clear, the Linux app only works in a 64-bit environment… and just to rule out anything else, I would download from here instead: https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet-electron This will always have the most current version.
Hi! I’m using a 64bit OS and I have the latest version to-date: 2.4.1
Why is the Linux App only allowing recording to Dropbox? IMHO there should not only be the option to store locally, but as well support open source cloud solutions like Nextcloud or Owncloud. Is there a reason for this limit? Does it have to do with the server functionality provided?
