Jitsi Doesn't Connect to External Camera

I am trying to use Jitsi with an external Black Magic camera. The camera shows up in the settings on Jitsi to connect to it, but when I click on it, it says “can’t connect to camera.” I’ve tried Chrome and Firefox and neither seem to work. I’ve gone through the feed for similar issues, but most responses contain code, and I’m hoping that isn’t what I need to do to fix this. Any help is appreciated, and if more information is needed, just let me know. I am new to the troubleshooting feed. Thanks!

Does https://appr.tc/ works for that camera?

Or maybe also: https://test.webrtc.org/ and share the results.

Hi Damian,

The first link you sent let me select my camera, which comes up as Decklink Video Capture. However, once I select it, nothing appeared in the window but a dark screen. This is the link to the results of the test from the second link.

Let me know if you need more information. Thanks for your help!

Is the camera detected by test.webrtc.org/?

Yes, when I went to that link, it let me select my camera to run the connection test.

Then can you try using the camera on meet.jit.si and send us the javascript console logs.

we will connect a broadcast camera with a thunderbolt shuttle from backmagic design. we can see some selections for Camera settings but no selection is work /send a picture.

can anybody help?
