[jitsi-dev] XMPP Message correction

#1

Hi,

I'm currently adding Message correction to Jitsi according to XEP-308. I
understood you have it implemented in Swift so I decided to test if they
are compatible.

I saw in your logs (btw adding a debugging console to the UI does make
testing faster  ) that while you do use the <replace /> tag and the 'id'
attribute as expected, you're using a different namespace - namely, '
http://swift.im/protocol/replace'. Is it OK for you to change this to the
NS listed in the XEP?

Thanks,
Ivan

Hey Kevin,

Thanks for the info. I thought that you might've fixed it in some newer
release and checked that I have the last one, but I didn't get to building
from sources. Good to hear the XEP ns is supported now.

We had an implementation long before I published the XEP and I forgot
to update the namespace for a while, but it should be sending the
correct namespace since

Thanks, that would be helpful. I'm using Mac OS 10.7.

If you're on Windows, Mac, Ubuntu or Debian I can send you an updated
package to save you building from source.
