Very nice. Have you tied annotations to PDF images, ie if you advance a
page the annotation moves with the PDF/page?

Thanks for sharing the link. I noticed that the whiteboard of this link
seems to have some differences with the one used in the other link
(https://edu.siplo.xyz/dev). For example, this displays the page number.

Is it a different version? Can both versions be obtained from the Github
repository? If so, which one do you recommend to use in a local
environment?

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi Greg,

We have few different branches on the repo.

   1. master : In this, we render pdf files in backend and send them to
front end as images. Then they are placed on the canvas. Annotations is
   supported in this.
   2. with_pdfjs : this branch users pdfjs's pdfViewer. Annotation is not
   supported in this
   3. file_manager : Every other branch supports file browsing. But from
the same server. In file_manager branch, we are using RichFilemanager
   <https://github.com/servocoder/RichFilemanager> to abstract file
operations. Main idea of this is to containerize the app and use AWS S3
   buckets as file storage.

I apologize for lack of documentation. We were only using this tool for
our internal use. I'll update the documentation assap.

I'm seeing the following in the Nginx access log:

---------------------------------------------------------------------
10.1.0.40 - - [29/Jun/2017:12:51:39 -0300] "GET
/whiteboard/6b47639e393c4c3c946f361c2cad2a52?showControns=true&showChat=
false&showLineNumbers=true&useMonospaceFont=false

(X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0"
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Am I missing something? As I mentioned before, the service is up and
running.

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi Royblog,

Well, we have developed a branch where we can annotate on pdf. Since it had
a issue with different resolutions we don't use it. I'll spin up an app
from that version also.

Hi, Buddhika.

We have few different branches on the repo.

1. master : In this, we render pdf files in backend and send them to
front end as images. Then they are placed on the canvas. Annotations
    is supported in this.
2. with_pdfjs : this branch users pdfjs's pdfViewer. Annotation is not
    supported in this
3. file_manager : Every other branch supports file browsing. But from
the same server. In file_manager branch, we are
    using RichFilemanager
    <https://github.com/servocoder/RichFilemanager> to abstract file
operations. Main idea of this is to containerize the app and use AWS
    S3 buckets as file storage.

I apologize for lack of documentation. We were only using this tool
for our internal use. I'll update the documentation assap.

I noticed that the whiteboard of the link https://meet.buddhikajay.pro
seems to have some differences with the one used in the other link
(https://edu.siplo.xyz/dev). For example, this displays the page number.

Is it a different version? Can both versions be obtained from the Github
repository? If so, which one do you recommend to use in a local environment?

Kind regards,
Daniel

Which branch corresponds to the version of each site?

What can you tell us about this?

Thanks for your reply.

I would like to know if the Javascript console errors I mentioned were

nice to know if anyone else who has tested this version of Etherdraw has
had this issue.

Thanks for your time.
