[jitsi-dev] Voicemail URI and MWI

#1

Hey,

When I enter Voicemail URI in SIP account config window (in my case
445@sip.local) although it is saved in
~/.jitsi/sip-communicator.properties as:

net.java.sip.communicator.impl.protocol.sip.acc1309005845078.VOICEMAIL_URI=445@sip.local

nothing changes in the GUI. When JItis is restarted Voicemail URI
field is blank again in SIP account config window.

What I would expect is some kind of Voicemail icon (or menu option)
which would dial straight into Voicemail service.

Also when Jitis receives MWI NOTIFY like:

···

-------------
NOTIFY sip:10002@192.168.1.65:5060;transport=udp;registering_acc=eu_sip_local
SIP/2.0.
Record-Route: <sip:192.168.1.52;r2=on;lr=on;ftag=96485>.
Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 192.168.1.52;branch=z9hG4bKf7b5.90d754d.0.

From: <sip:445@sip.local>;tag=96485.

To: <sip:10002@sip.local>.
Call-ID: 6070c478a9105e245b7c2f56aabb465f@192.168.3.3.
CSeq: 20 NOTIFY.
Contact: <sip:445@192.168.3.3:5065>.
Content-Type: application/simple-message-summary.
Max-Forwards: 69.
User-Agent: SIP Proxy.
Event: message-summary.
Content-Length: 91.
.
Messages-Waiting: yes
Message-Account: sip:sip:10002@sip.local
Voice-Message: 2/0
-----------

Nothing happens in the GUI. No indication of a new voicemail message is present.

Regards,
Chris

Yes this is a bug in the account configuration wizard. You can enter
an issue for it.

What I would expect is some kind of Voicemail icon (or menu option)
which would dial straight into Voicemail service.

Actually the voicemail messages read/unread can be seen on top in the
call history under "Voice messages", there you can also call the
service number to listen to any new messages.

Also when Jitis receives MWI NOTIFY like:

-------------
NOTIFY sip:10002@192.168.1.65:5060;transport=udp;registering_acc=eu_sip_local

You can check latest build (3568) which is fixing this problem.
