[jitsi-dev] Using tel URI on jitsi

#1

Hi All,

I wonder for dial pad function that not work when calling a number e.g +622192834748 (pstn). When debuging I found that this method: getPhoneNumberService() in class GuiActivator.java couldn't find the correct service, instead it was return null (it was called in CallManager.java) -> GuiActivator.getPhoneNumberService().isPhoneNumber(callees[i])) //this script gave NullPointerException.

Im about calling a phone number using tel URI, is Jitsi accomodate this? I was thinkin that I use the dial pad to do so.
Please anyone gime me a clue.

Thanks/Rgds

I am not sure I follow. Calling numbers should just work. Are you having
a problem with this? Can we see your logs?

Hi Emil,

I need some advice on logging here.
As I know setting .level=FINEST in logging.properties will provide complete log in ~/Library/Application\ Support/Jitsi/log/.
But everytime I run the app from ant run (build.xml). directory Jitsi on ~/Library/Application\ Support/ not created, If i run form the app that I installed on my laptop it created.

Anyway, PFA log I got form ~/Library/Application\ Support/Jitsi/log/ , I;ve already set the .level to Finest. The only one related to calling a number is this:
10:39:04.660 SEVERE: impl.protocol.sip.OperationSetBasicTelephonySipImpl.processResponse().644 Received error: 410 Gone

And again after follow the debug, the number i inserted into dial pad convert into sip:+6221844531834@sip.antisip.com, Could it be just tel:+6221844531834 ?

Thanks/Rgds
