I totally agree that it would be very very nice to have an option
that configures some default account for all voice calls. Or vice versa,
disable voice or video for accounts.
Another way is blockint the rtp traffic.
If you are in the same ethernet broadcast domain (same vlan) then you
have no chance blocking it. You could only block when routing is involved.
This could be done with a smart switch when the switch routes between
or at the "standard" router. For this udp ports 5000-6000 (both
destination and source)
should be blocked.
Other question. Is there a media gateway/proxy through which voice and
video could be forced
to control bandwidth/permission?
