[jitsi-dev] TurnServer on non-Linux hosts

#1

I notice that kfreebsd and hurd builds are failing:

https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=turnserver

This doesn't prevent the package being included in Debian, but it may
help to improve compatibility for non-Linux users

Hi Daniel,

Well, it seems that:
- For hurd: no support for realtime signal (to be confirmed).
- For kfreebsd: same macro definition for LIST_HEAD & co.

For the first ones we cannot do anything. Maybe try to simulate a realtime signal notification (via some threads) or completely removed the notification via realtime signals and proceed another way. I personally think the second solution would be good for longterm so that we could also support Windows and Mac OS X.

For the second ones, I have already rewritten the list.h to define only inline functions instead of macros. I will try to integrate it into turnserver.org soon.

Best regards,
