[jitsi-dev] Timeout on polling packet

#1

Hi,

for a couple of days now I'm wondering that my contact list keeps flickering.

What actually happens is, that my jabber.ccc.de account logs out and back in again. So all contacts associated with it disappear and come back a couple of seconds later.

This is what the log says (see attachment) What's going on? Other Jabber clients such as Pidgin do not show this kind of behaviour on the same machine using the same network connection.

What's wrong? Probably Jitsi hasn't enough patience for the returning keep alive packet? Is there a way to increase the time in the config?

Thank you for your help in advance.
Conrad

PS: Looking forward to the Android version

I've been experiencing the same with my sip-communicator.org XMPP
account. It seems to me that restarting Jitsi fixes the issue.

Hi Conrad,

which version you were using when you last have seen it? I'm asking
cause there was some improvements in that direction starting build
3878.
Will check it again.

Thanks

Yup, we'll have a look. Added to the todo list.
