[jitsi-dev] Supported platforms to record jitsi meet on

#1

Hello Developers,

Linux chat 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.54-2 x86_64 GNU/Linux

This is the $5 VPS on digital ocean[0].

I have noticed when
enableRecording: true is listed in config.js it won't even load a new video
session. Is this expected behavior?

Even when I set enableRecording: false, a new jitsi session can't start, I
must comment it out:
// enableRecording: true

Is that expected behavior?

No, this option only controls the display of the recording button in the user interface -- it shouldn't break anything. Can you double check config.js for syntax errors and check the java script console for any error messages?

Well deleting out the chrome extension lines got it working.
What are these options for: enableRtpStats & openSctp?

Thanks for helping me with this!

Boris
