[jitsi-dev] suggestion: disable menu items

#1

Hi all,

We are looking for a way to protect jitsi from the infamous end-users :wink:
(actually, it is more of a general security issue)

So what we would like to see is that a user is not capable anymore of changing the config.

Any chance of a global config file with something like:
聽聽"disable.options.menu=1"

Or to keep it completely general: the possibility to enable/disable any menu-options?

(Perhaps something to discuss over a Belgium beer :wink:

Hans

Hey

You can disable the options menu by setting the property
net.java.sip.communicator.impl.gui.main.configforms.SHOW_OPTIONS_WINDOW
to false, e.g. through provisioning.
