[jitsi-dev] Some remarks

#1

Hi all,

some remarks about the current nightly build (running on Ubuntu 10.10):
- - I lost all my configuration with the update.
- - The general options dialogue is too narrow to show the minutes field
(to enter the number of minutes before inactivity is indicated). This
also was the case in older versions.
- - The options dialog stays on top, even when a new connection dialogue
is opened.

Best regards

Thorsten

Hi all,

Could you be more precise. What data exactly did you loose? Is there something to do with this issue: http://java.net/jira/browse/JITSI-617?

- - The general options dialogue is too narrow to show the minutes field
(to enter the number of minutes before inactivity is indicated). This
also was the case in older versions.

Could you please create an issue with this one? If possible could you please attach a screenshot.

- - The options dialog stays on top, even when a new connection dialogue
is opened.

There seems to be a problem with Metacity on Linux. The problem was described here: http://java.net/jira/browse/JITSI-581. However we were unable up until now to find a way to resolve it.

Best regards,
Yana
