[jitsi-dev] SIP transfer doesn't work

#1

Hey Vladimir,

I remember we tried this recently and it was working. There must be
something recently broken. I'll try this tonight but if you can send us
logs ( https://jitsi.org/faq/logs ) that would probably be helpful.

Hi,

I was trying the SIP transfer function in the last few releases and it
doesn't work. I click the transfer button mid-call, put extension (like
105) and nothing happens. I would expect it send a refer or anything. Took
a loot at the logs and recorded with wireshark - there is no SIP message
after i click transfer, no error message either.

I would try to fix it myself, but if you have some idea I would appreciate
it.

The logs are empty. No evidence that I even pressed the transfer button.
May be I need to enable debug logs somewhere?

I reproduce this. We'll have a look. Thanks for the report!

I think the problem is/was a UI glitch: after you entered a number where to
transfer to, in the resulting list no contact was selected. The transfer
button however was enabled despite having no selection and then simply did
nothing when clicked.

I just committed a fix that automatically selects the first entry in the
list (should be available in build 2.5.5067). Can you confirm that this
applies to your issue?
