[jitsi-dev] SIP, H264 (Re: Is Jitsi serious?)

#1

Huge thanks for fixing these issues, the "2.3.4672.9757" version works
just fine.

Probably I am doing something wrong but, however, trying to use h264
codec for video it seems that the "default profile" in "H.264" under
"Advanced" settings has no effect: no matter if either "baseline" or
"main" is set, it looks like

聽聽聽聽4DE01f

is advertised over the wire as supported profile in "profile-level-id"
(this code corresponds to "main"?).

The problem is if the other end only supports "baseline", e.g. something
like 42e01f, then apparently no video session is established (neither
send nor receive).

Just curious, which "tune" codec parameters does Jitsi use for X264
initialisation (assuming X264 is in use)?

Thanks,

(Probably it's not all wrong sometimes to test startup jitsi against
jitsi in a trivial registrarless SIP mode, two computers side by side;
on some declared as supported platforms it is not always obvious this
test will succeed.)

"zerolatency". (x264 is in use through FFmpeg.)
