[jitsi-dev] ~/.sip-communicator unix permission

#1

Hello,

I noticed that ~/.sip-communicator get whatever permissions has user set
by umask. In my case 755. I think there is sensitive data that needs
protection and forced permission of 700 is needed.

I can't file a bug in java.net thus I'm writing here.

Regards,
Aleksandar

This is indeed something that we'd need to fix. Could you please file an
issue?

Well actually we don't like it when people open tickets in the tracker
without first discussing them on dev :).

However you just did that and it would be great if you could now open a
new entry. What seemed to be the problem when you first tried?

Cheers,
Emil

I see... this is now called jitsi... Instructions from
http://www.sip-communicator.org/index.php/Development/BugsAndIssues send
me to https://sip-communicator.dev.java.net/issues/enter_bug.cgi

where I see:
Migration notice: Projects that have been locked for migration are
available at the URL <projectname>.java.net. These pages have not been
forwarded yet because archived mailing lists and documents have not been
imported to the new site and are only available here for now.

Seems like instructions need updating... btw I would never know the
project is called jitsi if subject of messages on this list was not
prefixed by that name

I have filed http://java.net/jira/browse/JITSI-904

Cheers,
Aleksandar
