[jitsi-dev] Simulcast

#1

Hi George,

We're using your https://github.com/jitsi/sdp-simulcast package. Server is in rewrite-mode, so I assume we only patch the local sdp in Chrome, never the remote sdp from Jitsi.

- Your tool outputs a SIM group with ssrcs. How does the order of these ssrcs correlate with the order used in Jitsi?

- Are these ssrcs sorted from the stream with the lowest bandwidth to the highest? How is that with ""receive-simulcast-layer": 0"? Do I need to pick any ssrc and patch it manually, or can I patch the whole group into colibri as is?

Cheers, Oliver.

In other words: Which is the ssrcs which Jitsi uses when rewriting? Always the first or the one specified as layer?
