[jitsi-dev] SDP offers

#1

Hi!

Are there any examples of how to generate SDP offers to connect to JVB?

https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-videobridge/blob/master/doc/rest-videobridge.md

this doc asks to "take that response and translate it into SDP to
create an offer" and then to process the answer of that offer. where
can i read about it if i never worked with WebRTC before (at least not
directly, with no use of third party SDKs)? I saw examples of SDP
requests end responses but they don't tell much.

Thanks,

Mikhail

This might be a good place to start learning about SDP:

Like, how do i construct a web page which invokes an SDP offer, gets
answer, and actually connects to some media server? I found some
examples https://webrtc.github.io/samples/src/content/peerconnection/pc1/
but they are not working with any servers so probably not relevant to
my case.

Thanks!
