Does the problem appear when SIP Communicator automatically restarts
after applying an update or when it is manually started from the Start
Menu/Desktop shortcut? Please try the different scenarios and let us
know so that we can narrow it down.

Hi there,

Revision 8452/build 3393 should fix the issue an issue which is known
to cause unsatisfied link exceptions and thus prevents
registration/login or calls. Please test it and let us know if the
problem persists.

Thanks,
Lyubomir

Hi Lyubomir,

Thanks for the quick reply.

As you mentioned I tried to start it with eclipse(using the source) and
it's working fine.

This error occurred only when I try to start it manually from the
installation.

I tried sip-communicator-1.0-alpha6-nightly.build.3330-x86.exe build and
noticed same error.

Thanks & Best Regards,
Nuwan

Nuwan, Emil Ivov told me earlier today that Sébastien Vincent was
experiencing the same problem with a different dynamic library so I'll
be looking at this issue and I'll let you know of any progress here.

It turned out that while jmsoutlookaddrbook.dll (which implements the
search for Microsoft Outlook contacts within Jitsi) loads Extended
MAPI, the latter would change the current directory of the Jitsi
process to a directory containing one of the MAPI dynamic libraries.
Because Jitsi used to have its java.library.path set to a relative
path, the relative path in question would no longer contain
LocalhostRetriever.dll after Extended MAPI has been loaded.

The implemented solution is to set java.library.path to an absolute
path so that it does not get affected by the change of the current
directory performed by Extended MAPI.
