[jitsi-dev] Running a Simple JavaScript WebRTC Application

#1

Hi Rainer,

Are you wanting to talk directly to the videobridge or thinking about using
Jicofo for room management? I just did some work to make it easier to work
with the lower level parts of jitsi-meet as a library and build your own UI
on top of it (assuming you're using an xmpp server and jicofo alongside the
videobridge). I don't have a good example application right now and I'm
leaving for a 2 week vacation tomorrow but when I get back I should be able
to throw something together.

If you want to do some looking yourself, look at the list of events and
methods exposed by the xmpp and RTC modules in jitsi-meet (XMPPEvents,
RTCEvents, and StreamEventTypes). And look at how they are handled in the
UI module.

Any news on this?
I am also interested in a simple application using the VideoBridge.
