Regular releases do have a use beyond just bugfixing, they allow l10n updates
(and new languages to be added) which is equally important because while the
code makes the thing work, the UI and l10 is the way the user interacts with the
software. Ubuntu is very bad that way, it only updates the l10n side once a year
which is a major pain in the backside, if you spot an error, it takes up to a
year to fix.
