[jitsi-dev] Re: Two extra lines in android (was: Cnet Download entires?)

Could you please start new threads for new discussions/queries? Thanks!

Now, I am not sure I understand what you are suggesting. Could you
please tell us a bit more about how this would work?

Would it be possible to add two lines of code to it in the relevant place?

Log.e("PB_IN","SMS"+(text of SMS message received));
Log.e("PB_IN","DTMF"+(DTMF digit received));

This will allow Jitsi to use the Robots Everywhere Propbridge
telepresence platform natively. It's all you need to do.

Sorry about that, didn't change the subject...

Basically, I make a board that interfaces to Android devices through
ADB (You may have heard of the IOIO board; mine works on a similar
principle, came out a couple months earlier, and is primarily geared
towards replacing industrial PLCs).

We're updating our robots to use the latest version of the board and
would like to make it compatible with SIP clients. Adding those two
log statements allow a companion app to use the board to drive a robot
that the Android device controls.

We can let you drive around our workshop within 24 hours of you
releasing your Android app, if it has those two lines in :slight_smile: it's
literally all that is required.
