[jitsi-dev] Re: [jitsi~svn:9867] New enhanced interface.

Hi Yana, all

thanks for the new interface, looks really nice. I'll send you a screenshot tomorrow to
show you some small glitches that I see with KDE.

In the meantime: do you require some new/additional libraries or were some libs
added during the last few weeks? When I start Eclipse to check for some problems
I get a lot of problems, mainly unresolved types. Just as one example out of
many: in file net.java.sip.communicator.impl.gui.main.chat.history.DatesPanel
Eclipse says that in cannot resolve SIPCommScrollPane.

The ant rebuild works ok - it's just Eclipse that's complaining, thus I suspect
a missing lib/outdated lib and an out-of-sync .classpath.

Eclipse says that in cannot resolve SIPCommScrollPane.

a missing lib/outdated lib and an out-of-sync .classpath.

Hm, I don't have any differences in the .classpath. I'm not sure what would be the problem..

Cheers,
Yana

Yana,

attached a screenshot that shows a glitch. The height of seperators does
not match the font size and the characters are chopped off. I'm using
KDE 4.8.5 on an openSuSe 12.2, screen resolution is 1600x1200.

Well, then I will dig into that and check what happened.

Problem solved. Jitsi seems to require at least Java 1.6 (Java 6) to compile, my Eclipse
project setting were still at Java 5.

Woot!

Finally. Jitsi User Interface clean up. I've been waiting for this for a very long time. Looks good. Can't wait to see more of this. It's been long overdue and I applaud the changes. And much cleaner icons as well (Emil, remember our chat about a year ago? I tried convincing you that this would be worth the stress). Good job!

steve

P.S.: @damian any news about "Re: [jitsi-dev] Status to "Away"? Still not working for me.

I do, and I remember telling you that it would take many months of
work but that we will eventually do it.

And so it did ... and so we did.

Good job!

Thanks again!
