1 - i think thats useless and redudant information, for the work avatars
and status just distracting and interfere from work. I want to find fast
a man, but with this options contact list grows a much so i need to
scroll. Is it a complex task ?)
Changes on the contact list are sadly not a simple task, so unfortunately, we probably won't change much there for the time being. To find someone faster in a big list, you can always enter his name in the text field above the contacat list to filter it.
2 - automatic opening of incoming message is a bad idea. I am working
for this moment so new messages not in time. Well another side - why to
move mouse and click if there's a new message - more quickly is to use a
hot key. I use ctrl+q, don't know why is it so but it's very useful
function, and again i think very simple to do. Just because 1 and 2 is
my opition there are can be other so that's a reason to make it, isn't
The more options you realize the more people will find Jitsi useful, Is
not this your goal?
For Example our company want to use SIP, so that great to have a Jitsi
for all the tasks (IM, Jabber, SIP (skype for future i jope:) )) But
there are many people and each want something for themselves. Someone
accepts but someone will complain - like me the happines is so near..
I'd also find this useful, but I guess it's also not that simple. Especially the thing about opening the window with a shortcut. If someone else agrees to this request, could you please open a feature request in our issue tracker?
3 - Sorry, i forgot - of course for switching between the messages tabs
like in many appl. For now i cannot use Ctrl+tab - Jitsi assumes i
didn't change anything and continue to use alt + left(right)
That would indeed be helpful. Could you please open a feature request in our issue tracker for this?
4 - This can be ignored if 1 will be done. Searching through the groups
will be easily so i don't think we need to hide groups, thats what an
act of paranoia, excuse me!
Thank you Emil. Thank you Jitsi.
Thanks for your kind words!
