[jitsi-dev] Question

#1

Hello all of yours!

I have a voip client based on Jitsi, but now Iḿ trying to integrate XMPP
and SIP at the same account.
The idea is that the user only have a Account and, with this contact, the
use can speak with sip protocol and chat with XMPP.

have you done this? thanks a lot in advance

Hey Alex,

Sorry for the late reply.

You can achieve something very similar to this by using on-line
provisioning [0]. Your provisioning server may be configured to require
authentication which would be your users' primary accounts. The server
would then feed SIP and XMPP accounts back to the users so they won't
need to manually configure them and would have the impression to only
use a single service.

Hope this helps,
Emil
