[jitsi-dev] Problem with jitsi vs iChat – kind of Service Discovery loop

#1

Hi guys,
We have noticed the same behaviour causing very high load on our xmpp server. Tested with Jitsi 2.2.4603.9615 and Messages 7.0.1 (3322). Suggested change of error type case didn't help. I'm wondering if it's correct to advertise "voice-v1 video-v1 camera-v1" extensions in presence packet and respond with an "item-not-found" error to "disco#info" query on these extensions.
As I would also say that iChat (Messages client) is wrong, we definitely have bigger chance with you - jitsi team - to a get a solution for this in current century.
The only working workaround seems to be disabling Google's Jingle/ICE (experimental) feature.
Thanks in advance for any help,Tomas

Thanks for the report Tomáš,

I don't recall if we opened a ticket last time this was reported. Could you please do so now?

Thanks,
Emil
