[jitsi-dev] [PATCH] Property Editor plugin modifications

#1

Hello,

I'm sending you a patch containing the following modifications on the
Property Editor plugin:

- Updated the search box in the properties plugin so that it is case
insensitive

- Added searching for values in the property editor

P.S The patch that is attached here contains the modifications that Pavel
Tankov requested in this conversation:
http://lists.jitsi.org/pipermail/dev/2013-November/018711.html. So the
patch in http://lists.jitsi.org/pipermail/dev/2013-November/018711.html topic
needs not to be commited.

Regards,
Marin

Ahm... commons-lang:
- Is that an OSGi-capable bundle?
- If so, can we please include that directly as a bundle (means: copying it
directly to sc-bundles without modifying it)?
- (Adapting felix.client.run.properties, the prop-editor manifest, and the
Debian build for using libcommons-lang3-java, source into libsrc, readme and
copyright files)

There is useful stuff in commons-lang, it would be a waste to just include
it only in the property editor.

Thanks a lot for creating this nice feature!

Q: is the editor only working for XMPP accounts or also for SIP accounts?

Currently I can edit/change properties of my XMPP accounts but not of
SIP (IPPI, IPTEL)

Hello,

I think you mixed the Property Editor and Account Info plugins.

The one you are talking about is the Account Info plugin that you access
from Tools -> Account info.
Currently, it only supports edition of XMPP account information.

The Property Editor plugin that was mentioned in my post is the one you
access from Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Property Editor and it is used
for editing configuration properties.

Hope this was helpful!

Marin
