Is there a way to log packet to/from Jicofo?

Thanks,

/Kaiduan

Hi Kaiduan,

If you’re talking about the XMPP messages, your XMPP server can do that. If you’re using Prosody you can just enable debug logging. If you’re talking about RTP traffic, then the JVB can do that http://lists.jitsi.org/pipermail/dev/2017-May/033238.html.

I hope this helps.

You can also try this:

https://github.com/jitsi/jicofo/blob/master/lib/logging.properties#L22

Thanks George and Pawel.

Looks like https://github.com/jitsi/jicofo/blob/master/lib/
logging.properties#L22 does not work in latest code (I built jicofo from
latest source code)

Jigasi writes the packet into /var/log/jitsi/jigasi/log/jitsi.pcap, I am
expecting the same thing for Jicofo :slight_smile:

Best regards,

/Kaiduan

No, it will not write packets to pcap, but eventually will log XMPP as
XML in the logs.

I think the problem is that also this need to be added to logging.properties:

org.jitsi.jicofo.JitsiMeetConferenceImpl.level=ALL
