[jitsi-dev] OpenSSL library

#1

Is jitsi still allowing / using the openssl optimization? I'd like to get
rid of this warning in my logs and possibly see improvements in my DTLS
comms.

[org.jitsi.impl.neomedia.transform.dtls.DtlsPacketTransformer.connectThread]
WARN o.j.i.n.transform.srtp.HMACSHA1 - Failed to employ OpenSSL (Crypto)
for an optimized HMAC-SHA1 implementation: no jnopenssl in java.library.path

Is there a guide to creating the jnopenssl that its expecting above?

Best Regards,
Paul

Hi,

The jnopenssl binary comes with libjitsi for linux and linux-64, the
only requirement is to run jitsi-videobridge with java8. The sources
are here: https://github.com/jitsi/libjitsi/tree/master/src/native/openssl
and it is build with ant (ant jnopenssl).
