[jitsi-dev] Only UDP address from harvester expected?

#1

I have configured the harvester like this:

org.jitsi.videobridge.TCP_HARVESTER_PORT=443
org.jitsi.videobridge.TCP_HARVESTER_MAPPED_PORT=443
org.jitsi.videobridge.DISABLE_TCP_HARVESTER=false
org.jitsi.videobridge.TCP_HARVESTER_SSLTCP=true
org.ice4j.ipv6.DISABLED=true
org.ice4j.ice.harvest.BLOCKED_ADDRESSES=10.44.0.1;172.17.0.111;127.0.0.1

In the offer, I'm only seeing a single candidate:

a=candidate:1 1 udp 2130706431 176.9.157.236 10000 typ host generation 0

Is this expected or should I see TCP 443 as well (SSL set to true and harvester not disabled)?

#2

Hi Oliver,

I have configured the harvester like this:

org.jitsi.videobridge.TCP_HARVESTER_PORT=443

org.jitsi.videobridge.TCP_HARVESTER_MAPPED_PORT=443

Unrelated: this one is superfluous.

org.jitsi.videobridge.DISABLE_TCP_HARVESTER=false

org.jitsi.videobridge.TCP_HARVESTER_SSLTCP=true

org.ice4j.ipv6.DISABLED=true

org.ice4j.ice.harvest.BLOCKED_ADDRESSES=10.44.0.1;172.17.0.111;127.0.0.1

In the offer, I'm only seeing a single candidate:

a=candidate:1 1 udp 2130706431 176.9.157.236 10000 typ host generation 0

Is this expected or should I see TCP 443 as well (SSL set to true and harvester not disabled)?

You should see TCP candidates. Perhaps the bridge failed to bind to port 443? Can you share the logs?

Regards,
Boris
