#1

Dear dev team,

Is it be possible to open an URL on incoming call with the current code base ?

Best regards,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

It is not possible yet AFAIK.

BTW what use-case(s) have you in mind for this kind of feature ?

Hello Sebastien,

I was thinking of a CTI integration (popup data of the calling
customer from a CRM).

I'll try to work on that during my free time if any interest for the community

Anyway I've seen that the notification service doesn't receive that
much information from the event itself. Shouldn't we add a context
containing info about the event (descriptor of the call, message...)
and have these params available in the notification settings (like it
is for provisioning)
eg for a URL: http://crm.domain.com/popupCustomer.php?phoneNumber={$callerID}

Best regards,
Patrick

Hi,

Just some idea (I have not verified in the code). You can look at net.java.sip.communicator.service.protocol.event.CallListener interface.

If you implement it and register it to an OperationSetBasicTelephony object. You will be notified for incoming calls via CallListener's incomingCallReceived(CallEvent event) method _for this OperationSetBasicTelephony_ (so you need to register to all OperationSetBasicTelephony instances).

In CallEvent object you can get the source call (net.java.sip.communicator.service.protocol.Call) and with it you get some properties of the callee (account name/address, ...) via its ProtocolProviderService object.

Hope it helps.
