[jitsi-dev] Multiple OTR public keys for an account

#1

Hey,

Someone on my contact has more than one public key for OTR (they use more
than one device). I noticed that whenever I authenticate one key, it
replaces the old key in the configuration, so the old one is lost. Is there
a way to circumvent this and have multiple authenticated keys for a contact?

Also, the list with fingerprints in options->security seems a little
confusing to me -- it contains multiple entries for a single fingerprint (I
assume they come from different jitsi accounts). I would expect it to
contain a single entry for each key saved in the configuration. Or am I
missing something? Should I open an issue about this?

Thanks,
Boris

AFAIK no. I started some work on this with an apprentice at FHNW, but he
didn't came up with something useful.

The idea was to replace the list with a treeview to account for mutliple
fingerprints per contact. Also I think there is already an open issue for
this. Feel free to add some notes to that.

Thanks,
