[jitsi-dev] MUC Chat History

#1

If I disable chat history via Jitsi properties.... It overrides Openfire's setting to show MUC chat history in conferences.

Is this intended? This is different than Spark which still shows MUC history (for conversations that occurred before I joined the chat) without writing anything to local .xml logs.

While we have disabled chat history in Jitsi for security reasons (uncencrypted messages being stored locally), it would still be nice to have the MUC chat history for our teams that use group chat.

#2

Is there any way to allow persistent MUC when disabling history via Jitsi?
