[jitsi-dev] manual

#1

Hello.

[cc] gcc -L/Users/kuzya/libvpx-v1.1.0/ -dynamiclib -Wl,-arch x86_64 -prebind -dynamiclib -o libjnvpx.dylib ../../../src/native/native_obj/org_jitsi_impl_neomedia_codec_video_VPX.o -Wl,-o libjnvpx.jnilib -lvpx
[cc] gcc: error: libjnvpx.jnilib: No such file or directory

That's weird. Are you using an unmodified version of src/native/build.xml?

I use file src/native/build.xml with commented lines:
<compilerarg value="-arch" if="is.running.macos" />
<compilerarg value="i386" if="is.running.macos" />
<compilerarg value="-arch" if="is.running.macos" />
<compilerarg value="ppc" if="is.running.macos" />
and
<linkerarg value="-arch" if="is.running.macos" />
<linkerarg value="i386" if="is.running.macos" />
<linkerarg value="-arch" if="is.running.macos" />
<linkerarg value="ppc" if="is.running.macos" />

because with this lines I got an error:
llvm-gcc-4.2: error trying to exec '/usr/bin/../llvm-gcc-4.2/bin/powerpc-apple-darwin11-llvm-gcc-4.2': execvp: No such file or directory

Not sure what the problem is, but as a workaround you can do the linking
manually. I think removing the "-Wl"s in the above command should do the
trick:
gcc -L/Users/kuzya/libvpx-v1.1.0/ -dynamiclib -arch x86_64 -prebind
-dynamiclib -o libjnvpx.dylib
../../../src/native/native_obj/org_jitsi_impl_neomedia_codec_video_VPX.o
-o libjnvpx.jnilib -lvpx

thank it works!
